Company profile

BlueBotics SA is a spin-off company of the Autonomous Systems Lab, EPFL. Founded in February 2001 with the mission to market innovative and promising mobile robotics technologies, the company is active today in two segments: The transportation logistics and the so-called service robotics.

The company has won the innovation prize Swiss Technology Award 2001. In year 2002, BlueBotics has participated to the world largest interactive mobile robotics event: Robotics, Expo.02. ANT®, our key product, has been registered as trademark in year 2004. In the same year, BlueBotics co-founded the Swiss Mobile Robotics Consortium to strengthen the position of the company on the industrial level.

Fields of activities

Today BlueBotics SA offers its products and services in two fields:

Automation

BlueBotics' core business is the indoor navigation market, where the company proposes its innovative navigation solution for transportation of goods and in-house services. BlueBotics' product - ANT® (autonomous navigation technology) - is opening the door to new applications especially in the light load logistics and the service robotics market.

R&D Service Robotics

The company proposes R&D services based on its expertise in mobile robotics with standard platforms, feasibility studies, custom designs and dedicated developments for service applications and research. BlueBotics' expertise in mechatronics (mechanics, electronics, software and integration) allows for rapid custom developments with competitive prices.
